The anchor

One point runs your life. Start there.

Listing sites rank apartments by price, beds, and a vague neighborhood name, then bury the one number that decides your year: how long it takes to reach the place you go four nights a week. Radius starts from that place. Drop an anchor, and every building on the map is measured, sorted, and judged by its distance from it.

Building detail statistics: drive time at 7:30pm, walk time to the anchor, walk time to the nearest grocery store, and matching unit count
Minutes, not miles

Routed at the hour you actually go.

A “15 minute drive” at 2pm on a Tuesday is a 35 minute crawl when you need to be somewhere at 8. Radius routes every building at the time your life actually happens: your show time, your shift, your standing reservation. Walk bands draw the honest 10, 20, and 30 minute lines around your anchor, so “close” stops being a feeling.

Groceries and going out

Audit the block before you tour the unit.

Every candidate shows its nearest grocery store with a walk time, plus the restaurants and bars within reach, each with ratings and price levels. You learn on the map what you would otherwise learn three weeks after signing: the closest food is a 24 minute walk and the grocery store is a gas station.

The board

Units side by side, down to the dollar per square foot.

Shortlisted buildings and units go on the Board: rent, beds, square footage, price per square foot, drive time, grocery walk, in one grid with the winner marked in every row. In Los Angeles, a crime heat layer built from LAPD and Sheriff’s department data shows what the evening hours look like around each building. Decisions get made on evidence, not vibes.

Private by default

Your search, your people, nobody else.

Each search belongs to its owner and the collaborators they invite: a partner, a roommate, a friend who knows the city. Everyone sees the same board, the same times, the same numbers. Radius maps Los Angeles and New York, free while in beta.
